What is Permanent Cosmetics/Para Medical Tattooing?
Permanent cosmetic makeup is cosmetic tattooing. The specialized techniques used for permanent cosmetics are often referred to as “micropigmentation”, “micropigment implantation” or “dermagraphics”. The cosmetic implantation technique deposits colored pigment into the upper reticular layer of the dermis.

Which method of tattooing do you use?
A digital machine which deposits pigmentation and is excellent for precision and reaching proper depth in the skin. For Microblading we use a hand-tool, followed by the digital for shading.

Are permanent cosmetics, really Permanent?
Technically, permanent cosmetics procedures are considered permanent because the color is implanted into the dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. However, as with any tattoo, fading can and often does occur, requiring periodic maintenance.

How long will this take?
The initial procedure will generally take approximately 1 to 2 ½ hours. Touch up procedures usually do not require as much time.

Does it hurt?
You may experience some discomfort. This may vary according to each individual’s pain threshold. HOWEVER, a very good topical anesthetic ointments to help with pain management.

Are there any side effects?
Generally, there is some swelling of the treated area. While eyebrows may show little after effect, eyeliner, lips, and areola may show more and the edema may last from two to seventy two hours. There is usually some tenderness for a few days.

What if I dont like it?
Although the procedure is considered permanent, these procedures do have flexibility in changing color and shape to some extent. A perfection visit is recommended 30 days from initial session.

Tattoo Removal

How does the Tattoo Removal procedure Work?
A local anesthetic is applied. Then we exfoliate the skin to reach the level to where the ink was deposited with a machine similar to the one used when receiving the tattoo. Once the area has been exposed, the Abstract Hypexin Gel is applied for 10 minutes. The area is then wiped clean and bandaged if needed. You will be furnished with written After Care Instructions to ensure the treatment’s effectiveness and your full recovery.

Are there any complications or risks?
The procedure may include the risks of scarring, infection, hypo/hyperpigmentation of the skin depending on the body’s reaction. Following the After Care Instructions is of UTMOST IMPORTANCE to ensure a quick and successful recovery

What is the recovery?
Treated area may be tender for 3-5 days, 10-14 days for skin to heel.

How painful are the treatments?
Everyone’s tolerance for pain varies, a topical anesthetic will be used before and during treatment, so you can experience little to no discomfort.

How many treatments are needed?
There are a number of factors which will dictate this including health, the depth of the ink, which type of ink was used and the size of the tattoo. On average 3-7 sessions for complete removal. There are NO color restrictions, therefore able to lighten or remove any color, unlike LASER which can only remove certain colors successfully, this method. Sessions are 6 weeks apart.
